Designing a rooftop is always an interesting challenge. The view makes already half of the beauty and the design has to both enhance and overcome what is already beautiful.
This house has been completely demolished and rebuilt to better reach the scope.

This rooftop house, has been completely demolished and rebuilt. The house indeed was still appearing has its first construction.
Together with the client, we decided not only to reshape it, but also to improve its energy impact.
The first study focused its attention on the context, the landscape view and finally also
the possibility of feeling in a green and open space in the city centre of Milan. It was important to use wisely glass, openings and perspective to create a unique system characterised by a constant exchange between inside and outside, public and private, natural and artificial.
